I'm probably wasting my time by replying to you but here I go:
First of all I'd like to point out that CCP is the one who donated these prizes, CCP must have thought it out quite well because simply giving away stuff to a player lottery is considered interacting with the game. Even if somer blink was an entire big scam and there were thousands of alts account involved (lol) they would still have to legitimately hand out the CCP prizes to actual players, why? Simple because CCP can easily check if there are alt accounts involved, if that was the case CCP wouldn't give a few individuals free in game items which would mean they did the same as what happened with the T2 bpo's in the t20 scandal.
Regarding your forum post theory: The guy can be an alt of someone using that as a blink character, he doesn't need to play on his main account. I also don't think that it's rocket science that someone is capable of clicking on the link that says "blink forum thread" and then go to the last page to see their name being mentioned.
Some of these characters might be new to eve and not have a lot of isk to spend, they simply put in a few million and blinked and either lost or won and then stopped for a while, those people got lucky and won something to a draw where everyone had 1 ticket.
Blink buying characters to win is also unlikely because they could just make alts for free, seeing as it's drawn using RNG and Chribbas dice they would have to know the exact number it would land on and make sure they have that specific ticket. This would be almost impossible to do as before everything is drawn they let people see the ticket list which means that any changes can be noticeable, unless you're implying that both Chribba and RNG are involved in this in which case It's awesome that somer managed to get those 2 involved in scamming in an online video game(who doesn't like pixel space money right?)

IRS can't collect tax on those prizes. Indeed they can because its worth RL Cash hence RL was paid for to get said items you might want to Check the law buddy.
I could create a long wall of text explaining why they can't or I Could just laugh and post this. |
